  ELBOW DYSFUNCTION
   
  Elbow has a hinge joint where flexion & extension movement is possible.

Elbow pain - Tennis elbow is common not only in tennis players, but it can occur in people who do not take part in active sports.

Early diagnosis can help to identify the cause of some problems.

What causes Elbow pain?
- Trauma - fractures
- Sports injuries
- Tennis elbow
- Golfer's elbow
- Refereed pain from neck
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Ulnar Neuritis


Symptoms:
Pain, swelling, stiffness, difficulty in doing daily routine work eg. shaving, eating, grasping, opening the door etc.

Treatment:
It is advisable to take rest in acute stage. Also, discontinue all sporting activity till pain subsides.

Physiotherapy should be started as early as possible. Pain relief can be achieved
by Ultrasonic and Long-wave therapy, TENS, LASER therapy and Taping followed by exercises.
