  The Hand: valuable yet vulnerable.

The hand is one of the most intricate & flexible structures of the body. Nature has designed the hand to perform many functions.

Common Causes are:

Arthritis

Fractures of hand & fingers

Synovitis

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (Burning pain sensation / pins and needle sensation - common in ladies)

Computer hazards

Referred pain from neck

Treatment:
Physiotherapy includes hot - cold packs, paraffin wax bath, long-wave therapy, LASER therapy, ultrasonic, grip strengthening exercises, mobility and strengthening exercises.

Hand physiotherapy helps the individual to do daily living activities and patient can live independent life.
